On Holy Ground
Join with GLIDE friends for coffee, conversation and community on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 5:30pm.
Monday nights are hosted at Imagine Affairs Art Lounge in Oakland. The Tuesday night group in San Francisco is currently on hiatus.

GLIDE Ensemble
Be a member of the world famous GLIDE Ensemble! Audtions take place every Wednesday at 6:30pm on the 2nd floor and are open to all members of GLIDE Church. To find out more about becoming a member of GLIDE Church, email or call the Church Office at 415-674-6090.

GLIDE Pride Team
The GLIDE Pride Team is a dynamic group of diverse, creative, highly energetic LGBTQ and Hetero-fabulously straight “cheerleaders” who take great pride in leading GLIDE’s efforts to promote equality for the LGBTQ community. In 2012, our entry in the San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade won “Absolutely Fabulous Overall Contingent.”

Yoga
Thursdays at 6:00pm; Saturdays at 10:30am
Bay Area’s most accomplished yoga teachers are donating their skills for the well being of our GLIDE Family.  Please try to be on-time for your class. Yoga mats, straps and blocks supplied! Beginners welcomed. Please check with your physician if you have any health condition and/or concerns. You may use GLIDE’s free clinic if you do not have a private health plan. Please wear comfortable clothes for movement. Namaste.

Gay/Bi-Men’s Group
The mission of the GLIDE Gay/Bi-Men’s Group is to provide a place that unites GLIDE’s gay and bisexual men in a spiritual and radically-loving environment to fellowship and celebrate our sexual diversity within GLIDE’s walls and in the LGBT community. The group meets the first Sunday of every month after the 11am Celebration. Every fourth Sunday is a social event with location announced at Celebration.

A weekly 60-minute, Bible-based dialogue.
Meet and share gentle, but real, reflections on scripture, faith, community, hood life and social justice. Rev. Harry Williams is your host and every voice is welcome.

Meditation
Mondays at 6:30pm in Room 201
Enter a welcoming environment for spiritual development and/or silent contemplation without dogmatic or philosophical pressures. If it’s your first time joining, please arrive 15 minutes early for instructions.

Social Justice Team

A weekly group that meets to discuss and act on issues of social justice inequality in the Bay Area, We are committed to executing small to medium-sized projects concerning economic equality Tenderloin Neighborhood and the city of San Francisco. All are welcome

SpeakOUT
When people come together to speak their truths, they know they are not alone. They feel the love and compassion from their brothers and sisters, and experience beloved community. Every Wednesday at 5pm, you are welcomed by Janice Mirikitani and Rev. Cecil Williams to come up to a single microphone and share your stories, songs, poetry, music, and whatever moves you. This is the SpeakOut, a weekly open mic series followed by a community dinner prepared by the Daily Free Meals Program.

Racial Justice Team
Wednesdays at 6pm in Freedom Hall

The GLIDE Racial Justice Team meets to work on ways, we as a GLIDE community can challenge racist profiling and seek justice in the Bay Area. Everyone is welcome.

Keepin’ it Real
Sundays at 1pm in Freedom Hall
A weekly support group for dealing with issues ranging from overeating, to drugs and alcohol, to bad relationships – anything we need to recover from. Drop-ins welcome! Led by Terry Harper.

Bridging the Gap
Tuesdays at 6:00pm in Room 206
Join the support group designed for LGTBQ folks and Allies who are willing to sit with one another and work on the issues that keep us from having healthy relationships and keep us from living up to our full potential.

Ray of Hope
GLIDE partners with Ray of Hope to send members of the church community to Kenya to serve as agents of God’s love with the GLIDE Family, to support and provide wellness and unconditional love, as we cultivate relationships in Kenya to work with those in need to improve the quality of their lives. We work to be receptive to learning more about ourselves and others through this cross-cultural experience.

Godly Play
GLIDE’s Sunday Children’s Program occurs during the 11am Celebration. It is an opportunity for children to be creative and experience community through storytelling. Please bring your young ones before the 11am Celebration to Room 201 and we’ll guide them up to the 4th Floor.
Children’s Choir
The GLIDE Children’s Choir is open to kids ages under age 12 and meets weekly after the 11am Celebration in the Sanctuary. The Children’s Choir performs once a month at Celebration from the fall through the spring.
Volunteer
Been coming to Celebration and want to find a way to give back on Sundays? Volunteer to be an usher, promote GLIDE downstairs in Freedom Hall after Celebration, or help answer phones on Sundays.
